Be Nike Missionaries

Last month, Elder Kaeron from the 1st Quorum of the 70's, came to Rome for a mission conference.  I really liked him taking the first 20 minutes to shake every missionary's hand and ask them their name and where they were from and a few other things.  We all felt his great love for each of us personally, and I listened all the more intently to everything he said.

He is pictured in the far left corner, and our mission president and his wife, president and 

sister Waddoups are in the middle of the screen.

One thing that I remember Elder Kaeron  telling us, was to be "Nike Missionaries---Just Do It!

I found a good scripture to back that up today.  In 1Chronicles 28:20:

     And David said to Solomon his son, Be strong and of good courage, and (just) do it; fear not, nor be dismayed; for The Lord God...will be wih thee;  He will not fail thee, nor forsake thee, until thou hast finished all the work for the service.....of The Lord.

(The word "just" was added by me that is in parentheses above)
