Cleaning up the yard of the church

Last week, our Branch President, (which is Anziano Scherbel) called one of our new members to be the branch gardener.  He came with two of his boys, ages 13 and 8 and they worked so hard in the hot humid morning.  He mowed the lawn and then trimmed all 13 of our huge pine trees so that the branches start about five feet above the ground, and they look so nicely even.  That allowed us to get under them and trim the grass and rake under them as well.  He trimmed the four oleander trees and both lemon trees and our lime tree.  They took one load of branches to the dump.  The next day, Anziano Scherbel and I loaded all the branches in our car and after three more loads to the Albaorganica (Italian trash sorting place), we got all the branches and pine needles cleaned up from the church yard. It took me a couple of hours vacuuming and brushing out all the pine needles to clean out the car.  But now our car smells like Christmas because of all the pine boughs.
