Our 4th P-Day

We have been in Italy now for 7 months.  Hard to believe.  We decided that we should take more P-days.  We have only had 3 so far; one we hiked Vesuvius, one we walked around Paestum, and one day we took a boat ride and toured the Amalfi Coast.  So yesterday, we drove the Costiera Cilentana and had a very relaxing and enjoyable day. There was a very cool archeological site up on a small hill we drove by.  And there were a million of these prickly pears that grow on cacti everywhere.  Paul said they are edible but he doesn't care for their taste.  The views of the Sea from these high mountain roads were breathtaking.  The road to Hana in Maui is tame and straight compared to the curves and steepness of the drive down the Costiera Cilentana.  We passed a part of the road which had totally dropped out of site and left a huge gaping hole.  I wish I had taken a picture, but I was glad to get past it.  The hole was as big as a house.  Thank goodness they had traffic cones and a bit of yellow tape to mark the perimeter of the hole!
Anyway, we had a wonderful day, and I was reminded again how blessed we are to live here for this short time and experience the beautiful creations of our Father in Heaven.
D&C 104:14: And I The Lord stretched out the heavens, and built the earth, my very
handiwork, and all things therein are mine.
