Sister Webster and Sister Knudsen are a good team. They shared with me one of their ideas this week. They had had a family home evening with one of our new member families on Monday. The great thing is that they made assignments for next week's family home evening and gave an article to the mom to teach to the kids, and gave a scripture for one of the boys to look up and share. They had the other boys draw assignments, and one was so excited to get the activity. The other two boys will give prayers. Then the sisters will come and be guests, instead of teachers next week. What a great idea! Thank you sisters for your inspiration and dedication!
Today, I taught them how to make a very cheap meal using lentils and small pasta and vegetables. I figure that Lenticchi costs about 10 cents per serving.
Tonight we are having a fireside here at our home for our non member friends.
